Sewing Machine Maintenance and Tips

Keep your Cobra machine running smoothly with these simple care guidelines and sewing tips. For additional help, visit our website for instructional videos or call our technical support team for expert assistance.

Sewing Tips:
  • Hold your thread firmly but not tightly for the first few stitches to ensure a clean start.
  • Begin your stitch about 2 inches forward, then reverse to lock it. This hides two knots instead of three for a cleaner finish.
Maintenance:
  • Oil your machine every 10 hours of hard use, preferably at night.
  • Add one drop of oil in every red-marked hole to properly lubricate the machine.
  • Place a paper towel around the presser foot overnight after oiling to catch any excess oil and prevent leaks.

With consistent care and proper technique, your Cobra machine will deliver smooth, reliable performance for years to come. If you ever need assistance, we’re always here to help!
